    You all are all screwed even if you remove it. It changes names and updates to work around the scanners that remove it. Your antivirus software is not strong enough to protect you. You’re just going to pick it up again just the same as you did before. I don’t see how some of you think you know when you picked it up because it’s usually hidden inside other files. You didn’t even know you installed it. It gets installed and then it starts popping up at random once infected and eventually it gets worse. It doesn’t just make its way onto your machine on its own either. If you think you didn’t do anything you’re wrong. You did. You just don’t know what you’re doing to know what you did. Most people get it from visiting sketchy websites (warez, music, videos, porn, bootlegs, software related to the above, and other misc shady sites) and/or installing video codec’s to view videos you probably shouldn’t be looking at anyway. You didn’t get it from Monster.com, your bank site, careerbuilder, or any of the other legit sites people are claiming to have gotten it from. I strongly suggest if you are ignorant with a PC that you should seriously consider a Mac. PC’s take much higher expertise to keep free of problems nowadays. You’re just going to spend endless hours trying to figure things out and spending money to have a professional fix it. I’m so sick of having to remove this from people’s machines just to have them reinfect it all over again!!

  5. dave says:

    The reset option is only available on IE ver7 at the bottom right of the tools/ internet options/advanced tab

  6. lucy says:

    I fell for it too and called my credit card company. They say that the biller is legit, so I’m filling out a form that says that I didn’t get what I paid for – it’s a “billing error”. Worth a try!

  7. marie says:

    I was infected by av360 twice — called Microsoft yesterday. The solution is to restore system back to a date prior to infection. Was told this is definitely a virus. I restored back 7 days and this solved my problem. Try it….

  8. Anti360 Help says:

    Did you ever get this removed and if so?

  9. Marlene says:

    is there any way to get your money back if you paid antivirus360? and is anyone doing anything to stop this?

  10. MArk says:

    Ok…Seems as if the system restore helps….I do have a problem…When I go to the System restore, it only gives me the option of restoring it back 2 days, and the virus was on the computer at that time…Anybody have any ideas? I tried to go back further in time (a month) and it won’t go back that far…Is there any way I can somehow get the restore point to go back a week or two, even if it seems it won’t let me?

    Thanks eveyone!!!!

  11. Ahyr says:

    My system restore was deleted by Antivirus 360. Only thing that worked for me is to run recovery disk. It is a pain but i had not find any better way to get rid of it.

  12. John Plowman says:

    I tried manually removing AV360 a few days ago before knowing about this site and although successful, have messed up my desktop in the process! I can no longer use any browser except Netscape, GoogleEarth does not work, and I cant send out anything on line. I get this message on every startup:
    RUNDLL
    Error loading dl32
    The specific module could
    not be found.
    OK
    Any assistance will be much appreciated.

    John

  13. Jeanne Stebbins says:

    I was getting really angry that I couldn’t get rid of Antivirus 360 from my mother’s computer. I decided to write them directly and insist on instructions to uninstall their progam. Here is a copy of what they sent me and it worked quickly and completely.

    “Please follow my instructions to uninstall Total Security:

    1.Open My computer, choose Disk C;
    2.Find the folder Program files / Common files / System / Uninstall ;
    3.Run the file Uninstall TSC

    After that our product will be removed.”

    Hope this helps other frustrated people and save a lot of people some time.

  24. Frank says:

    I came across this virus in the latter part of November 2008 or early 2008. It was a serious pain in the butt. On Christmas day I finally raised the white flag and did a low-level reformat on my one and only hard drive at that time. I used Microsoft’s advice to remove it, advice from other people on the internet, went through my files and the registry on my computer, etc. I was able to get rid of some of the files that pertained to this virus (and I’m only assuming that they themselves were not “trojans”) but this did not stop the headaches. I suspect I got the virus when I let my cursor roll-over an ad in Facebook, the one and only time that occured on that website for me. I did not click on anything. It may not have been the roll-over, but suddenly a new window opened up on my screen of a porno site and that virus just leaped into my computer. It happened two or three times after that during the next couple of months and on both occasions I IMMEDIATELY switch off the computer using the button on the face of the computer. No harm seems to have come from those attempts. I am fed up with criminal activity on the internet.

  25. Unrulypatchouli says:

    You’re an ass talking like that to other people. If you are so sick of making money off of PC users who didn’t attend college to remove an advanced virus from their computers, perhaps you should teach anger management, I’m certain you’d be just as good at that as you are removing viruses. (hopefully you’re better at detecting sarcasm). If NORTON, McAfee, Spybot and/or every other popular antivirus software out there isn’t removing it, I highly doubt, you dumb ass, are either. This site is to HELP others, HELP them or fuck off!

  26. aung says:
