Microsoft acknowledges Windows Vista OEM hack
April 12th, 2007 by Brian
(NEWS) (April 13, 2007) Microsoft has confirmed the Vista OEM hack, which has circulated the web in recent months. The story covering Windows Vista
Activation crack was first reported by the Inquirer on March 1, 2007, then many Vista users-in-waiting rushed out of the gate and test out the OEM crack, which of course makes Microsoft worried, and that’s how we got the recent confirmation by Microsoft Senior Product Manager Alex Kochis on Windows Genuine Advantage developers’ blog. According to the blog, Microsoft will not take immediate actions against what they called “mad scientists”, and instead, they will focus on protecting their “customers, partners and products.” Does this sound familiar?
