I have no clues how this pc security 2009 thing got into my new computer. I had it for less than two weeks. All I did was email and reading news occasionally.

pc security 2009 is aweful, awefully annoying, awefully destructive. no matter what i tried and it failed miserably. please help.
PC Security 2009 is not from porno sites. I didn’t visit those websites yet got this SOB this morning. I tried all of these steps but it’s just too complicated so I reformat the computer. Luckily I didn’t have much data otherwise it would have been a disaster.
I got the virus while on facebook – be very aware!!
I was on Facebook when my malware detected it and removed it. Beware to the Facebook junkies! You better have a good malware removal tool. From what I hear PC Security 2009, which is from Trojan, is VERY annoying and mimicks much of Windows software to where if you are not computer savvy like most IT techs, you will probably get it!

pc security 2009 can be removed by doing a standard system restore. try it and let me know if it fails.

Since i have had this program, my computer has had more problems than it has been worth. We have been thinking of just getting rid of it and buying a new one because trying to remove this program is IMPOSSIBLE!! AND forget trying costomer service.
okay go to C:\documents and settings\all users\application data. From there you should be able to spot a file with a random number. open it and you’ll find the system security tiger stripe shield and another file. right click on each and rename them something like 444 and 555 then rename the file they were in with something like 666. Restart your computer then go back to these files right click them and delete them then empty your recycle bin. Done and dusted…..
do as i just posted in safe mode works gone in 2 mins to get into safe mode on comp boot up hit the f8 key then find the dir good luck
