Geek Squad asked for $150 for spyware removal. Should I buy a new computer instead? My computer is running very slow anyway. I think I can get a new Dell for $600.

i fixed my uncle’s laptop for only $50. i know it worths much more than that but i had a hard to charge my relative. winpc antivirus is a bitch to remove though.

this winpc antivirus took over my computer today. i spent hours without much success and i hate to spend money to have someone fix it. more importantly, i don’t trust those guys in bestbuy. they look stupid! help please!

I found most of the files. Delete them in safe mode after the respective processes were stopped. Reboot the machine. Gone! I feel like a computer genious now. LOL.

best buy sucks in pc repair. they overcharge and underdelivered. they do offer competitive prices in new pc though. instead of spending hundred to fix an old computer, i might as well purchasing a new computer from them. winpc antivirus is a complete disaster to deal with. it’s worse than my gf!!
