Unfortunately, I too have been scamed by the above mentioned virus protector. It showed up shortly after opening an email from a friend and would not allow me to do ANYTHING on my computer unless I purchased it for $49.95. After trying to contact the virus service to complain that I did not appreciate thier way of selling thier product, I found out they were a fake. I had to cancel my credit card to protect myself from further losses. The virus protection that I was using did not pick this product up.

I bought "Advanced Virus Remover" for $49.95(3 yrs. protection) with a 30 day money back guarantee, my credit card was billed $109.85 from a company called coolprojects.com.

I was tricked into this purchase because my computer would not function from pop ups. I ran Norton prior to the purchase, and Norton came up no viruses, however my background screen was black with red letters that stated "Your System is Infected" and almost every click of the mouse resulted in another popup. Now it functions ok but I was totally scammed. There is no way to make contact with their customer support.

I'm worried about this company having my credit card info. Any help, suggestions, would be greatly appreciated.
