Antivirus Plus or AntivirusPlus, is a rogue antispyware application that created to ruin the integrity of our computing experience. Antivirus Plus is fake and malicious, with the intent of screwing up your computers. It is possible that Antivirus Plus is a clone of the infamous Antivirus 2009 or its variants. It is somewhat ironic to see a fake antivirus application got udpated like other programs. Guess we are living in an usual world and nothing really surprises us anymore. Generally, Antivirus Plus usually comes up after you installed a video codec that come with Trojan, malware and virus. Antivirus Plus normally generates fake and misleading system popup error messages so end-users will be tricked into purchase Antivirus Plus.
It is extremely important to remove all the components of of the Antivirus Plus and all the malware and trojans that it might have come bundle with (such as zlob.trojan, trojan.vundo and Trojan.Downloader). i got antivirus plus popups after I mistakenly clicked on something. I don’t remember exactly what that is. i ran norton but didn’t seem to help. what else can i try to get rid of antivirus plus?? thanks alot.

I bought with $51.45 your “Antivirus plus”, code no ; 2058629384572636 on 07/18/2009 but no effect on computer’s virus problems.
security always blocks the window and trying to sell another anty virus programm. could you help to clean the computer.

Need to update instructions. Antivirus Plus has got smarter since this was written in January. It now disables task manager, none of the processes listed other rundll32.exe shows up in the process list under Spybot. Deleting the mentioned files is in-effective because as soon as you re-boot they are back. It deny’s Malwarebytes by making the main executable unable to exist (rename it on another computer and recopy it into folder to bypass). Malwarebytes, Spybot, and Adaware fail to remove this.

yah i have the same problems and i tried using the cmd and pslist/pskill and the rundll still didnt show up. the task manager freezes and my anti-virus (computer associates) doesnt work on it. i went to the registry too and the files i looked for were “non-existent” but obviously there due to the pop-ups. Who ever made this is an evil genius.

Try using Combofix, rename it to something. Try and have internet connection also running. Get it off another PC.
Search for Combofix. I just had Antivirus Plus 2010 which is appalling. Combofix worked for me, just checking if I have got rid of every last trace of it now..

In regards to this topic, i would like to note a couple things, yes i am a computer techy who is working for a local rental company. We deal in computers among other things, so i usually see a lot of virus’s every week… Now to explain this situation clearly, yes the above process works, and doesnt work. This is BY FAR the worst adware i have every seen, or formely known as malware now adays. EVEN I am having an issue with the new 2010 antivirus plus program, we successfully removed the malicious program and corresponding files on a hp laptop.However as soon as we did, and malware bytes deleted all traces, i rebooted to test my results, success! Now for the fun part, so many windows errors came about it wasnt even funny anymore. I used CCleaner to remove the excess baggage from the system (i.e. cookies, missing file paths , registry keys blah blah blah) rebooted after SUCCESSFULLY deleting it all and came about this new error. B.S.O.D (evil Blue Screen Of Death)Then rebooted, and again tried to start up, again, B.S.O.D… We are currently in the process (thankfully they still had the recovery partition) of recovering windows and applications. 64% done – wish me luck – will post results later! p.s. this is my 6th time within the past 8 months i have dealt with this virus , at work and at home. Thankfully never on my own computer ^.^
