ContraVirus Descriptions:

ContraVirus is a rogue anti-spyware software. ContraVirus usually installed itself onto your PC without your permission, through Trojan, Virus or fake software. ExpertAntivirus will display fake system alerts or fake security alerts to trick user to buy the paid version of ContraVirus. This is probably related to VirusBlast.

To avoid putting your computer at risk, it is important to remove ContraVirus. You can try our recommended SpyHunter* Spyware Detection Utility, which is very easy and straight-forward.     I followed the instructions and removed Contravirus off my PC. Do you know if it will come back in the future or I am safe from Contravirus? I have sensitive data in my computer and I don’t want anybody to see it.

    It might come back just find out what you installed to get it there snd don’t touch it. (and do report it).

    Hey thanks so much for this info on removing this virus. It was causing alot of popups. And for the record I didn’t install anything, I just opened a zip file and Windows Defender spotted a trojan. I suspect this is where this junk came from.

    I have paid for this program online, however, it seems to be in spanish. What do I do?
