I found the file that’s giving the annoying popup telling you to download it, it’s “C:\Windows\onekek.dll”
if you delete all the registry keys related to it, windows will let you delete it.
You can use SpyHunter to find all of the keys, and it can delete them for you, or you can do it yourself with the registry editor. (go start, run, regedit)

note: Spyhunter abbreviates the first files in the registry
HKCU = HKEY_CURRENT_USER
HKLM = HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE
HKCR = HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT

I have spent days trying to kill this thing!

The program has gone

The reg files and files listed have gone

But the bloody pop up window is STILL there!

Please, there has to be some way, without reinstalling the antivirus, which i may add doesnt remove the pop up window and keeps trying to install the same program over and over again!

I’m at my wits end!

I have tried the instructions on removal through searching for the ie antivirus files and through the registry and I cannot find a thing. Someone help me!

omg i cant get this off im still getting the pop ups and everything…im def not a computer tec so can somebody dumb down the instructions a lil…or email me and get my IM so they can tell me step by step what to do…i wud appreciate it soooooo much
