Microsoft will release Windows XP SP3 on April 29, 2008

According to a thread on Microsoft TechNet forum, Microsoft will continue its renovations on the ever-popular Windows XP platform – Windows XP SP3 will be released and available for download via its website on April 29, 2008. This is great news for many of us who’s still using Windows XP as the OS of choice. It’s believed that SP3 will fix a lot of bugs, and more importantly, it will enhance the security that we badly needed to stop the invasion of spware. Let’s keep our fingers cross.

Do you really trust Microsoft? Get an iMac and you don’t need to worry about hotfixes and service packs.

Thanks for the info. I can’t wait for the update. Personally, Windows Vista is not worth the upgrade.
