PcPrivacyCleaner, also known as Pc Privacy Cleaner by a lot of people, is the latest counterfeit anti-spyware software that endangers the world of computers. PcPrivacyCleaner usually installed itself onto your PC without your permission, through Vundo Trojan, Virus or fake software. PcPrivacyCleaner will display fake system alerts or fake security alerts to trick user to buy the paid version of PcPrivacyCleaner, in order to remove the potential and reported problems. Not only does it cause your machine to slow down dramatically, it would also put your privacy and data in risk.

It still comes up. I removed the freaking spyware, but it still comes up…..

i’ve tried ctrl-alt-delete, but it just says “Task manager has been disabled by your administrator.”
IM the administrator, and i didn’t do this…

Stopping the process in task manager worked for me, however it’s only a temporary solution. By the way, the process in my task manager is known as pcpc.exe
Try super antispyware, it worked for me at removing pc privacy cleaner completely…

It seems to work for now although i did nmot find all the items reported.. Hopefully Macafee will keep this off unknowing users’ computers in the near future..

Bonjour, J’ai un problème avec PC Privacy Cleaner, il y a toujours une fenêtre qui apparait et qui me dit que mes données sont en danger, il me demande de supprimer les menaces de confidentialité, est-ce que je dois les supprimer?

Try posting in the forum that deals with that specific problem. Your post here is stupid, and irrelevant and helpful to absolutely nobody. Kind of like your country!
I personally did not find any of the listed registry entries on my computer at all. Neither did I find the processes or any of the executables or .dll’s Yet I still get browser hijacked and warned about fake security problems then directed to the stupid PC Privacy Cleaner site. Are there any other names (known of) that this shitty malware goes by?
