A SYSTEM RESTORE option worked fully for me after most of the above were unsuccessful. Using a WINDOWS XP PRO Dell GX260 PC. Because, the virus stops many applications/programs you’ll have to shut down & reboot in SAFE MODE to reach HELP (HELP doesn’t function when the virus is at it);then under TOOLS select SYSTEM RESTORE ..using a few days back on the calendar before your ‘infection’. Your computer will restart in normal mode & it should be gone.
