I didn't fall for this, did everything I could to remove it repeatedly, following advice here on the registry entries and executables and running Hitman Pro, which found and repaired a rootkit and various other problems - but as soon as I was comfortable it reappeared in an even busier version with numerous windows. ZoneAlarm was freaking out and I turned down the malicious requests but Hitman Pro found a ton of things that weren't even there the first time. It clearly was just too much because the computer won't reboot now, it is very screwed and I will have to reinstall Windows and lose a great deal of work. I believe it is connected with an Acrobat Reader vulnerability because I kept getting alerts about Acrobat Reader when I was not even viewing a pdf and the one thing I did before the attacks got worse was reinstall it.

Dear Sonia, I will suggest you to call your credit card issuer (usually there is a phone of the bank on the back of the card) and ask them to make a charge back because you fall a victim of computer crime. I think this is the only way to get your money back.
