BlockScanner Descriptions:

BlockScanner is a new rogue anti-spyware application from the same vast family, called the Winisoft. BlockScanner acts in the same way as most of similar rogues.

The application is installed as you visit some malicious sites, or try to download video codecs or updates for them. Trough backdoor Trojans, BlockScanner enters into your system and starts configuring Windows registry. First, it creates files which are recognized as infections during scans, then some changes are made in order to make BlockScanner launch automatically.

As the software is on your PC, it starts simulated scans. Of course, the infections on your machine are nothing more than the files previously created.

Do not trust this application. BlockScanner is fake. Do not install it. Remove it!
