Gamevance can be simply and easily removed from control panel, add/remove programs (xp) or Programs and Features (vista/win 7), after you click on uninstall button and the process finishes restart your computer and you wont have gamevance anymore. I tried that and it worked very well for me.
This program did scare me quite a bit, but I was sure glad to hear it wasn’t much of a threat. Seeing as I faced a great deal of difficulty during multiple attempts of solving the problem myself, I’d also become rather irritated.
I couldn’t thank you enough for these removal instructions! My laptop was making a big fuss over this mysterious program, but now everything’s back the way it should be.

Two hours later: “WTF? WHAT HAPPENED?”
*removes Gamevance*
I managed to pick up Gamevance somehow, and found that running Windows Live Scanner seems to have removed it without any problem.
This maybe the best way for people who aren’t happy about entering the Registry, it takes a while for the program to run but does find, remove and correct without any input from yourself
i download gamevance and try to remove it from control panel, Programs and Features and it gone but the pop up ads still appear and the gamevance folder is still in my c drive . i try to delete it but i cant . any ideas on how can i delete it all?
im using vista btw

THIS IS ALL A BIT FURTHER UP THE PAGE….oh no I'm sorry I just realized the issue…maybe you don't know that delete and remove mean the same thing.. or maybe you thought someone was going to come to your house and physically do it for you??? And David…maybe you have a magic computer but obviously it is not "simply and easily removed" if there is a page like this for people to follow detailed instructions on how exactly to get rid of it and multiple people have searched the information out (because it isn't removed as easily as the typical unwanted program.)

Do have to be so rude to people?? Is this how people use to treat you with computers too? And that is what makes you such a jerk?! Some people do not get things a quickly as other, yet this does NOT give another person the right to act like you have. Grow up!
I thought Lisa’s question was pretty clear. If you cant so much as read the directions at the top of the page than what ever are you doing operating a computer? Computers are for people who can grasp the highly advanced idea of following the directions. Lisa was not being rude, she was merely pointing out the obvious.

Everyone here has made it seem that Gamevance is very easy and almost common sense to uninstall. Here’s the problem that many of the posters here fail to realize; Gamevance can be deleted using control panel add/remove program, but not if it’s not listed there and can be very hard to find if not named something like ‘Gamevance’. Someone please provide a post for this adware/spyware when the actual applications and support files have been hidden to prevent deletion or uninstallation, which is my own personal experience with Gamevance. Thank you for your time.
thank you jason i was almost afraid to ask a “stupid question” for fear of being made to look stupid lol but yes i’m stuck with adds by gamevance there are no programs listed ANYWHERE in add/remove programs with any resemblance to gamevance32.exe

or anything in the registry. but it is there.the actual applications and support files have been hidden to prevent deletion or uninstallation obviously….can anyone help? i have tried several removal programs and nothing seems to get rid of it.
i was having the same problem Jason. i removed all gamevance entries using above instructions, well it was out of the system but gamevance popups were still there. come to find out it was in the browser as an add on, in google chrome go to tools and looked under extensions and there it was. was also in firefox as an add on, once i deleted that i have had no problem since. hope this helps

yeah i dont know how game vance got on my computer i never downloaded anything with game vance stuff and i dont want it anymore it keeps popping up and i want to get rid of it
Thank you to jason and especially a big thank you to spoons! I ran several anti-malware programs which destroyed a bunch of adware but I’ve been searching thru my registry for two hours for all those very specific files and I would have never figured to look in the add-ons but you were right on – it was waiting for me right there! What a relief, thanks.
@Spoons, I did find it in my add-ons, but every time I disable or uninstall it, it somehow reinstalls itself when I restart firefox. Does anyone know how to fix this?
