IGuardPC is a rogueware from the widely spread Winisoft family. The application is installed after computer users visit maliciuos sites promoting the fake product. You don’t even have to click on the download button in order to get this infection.

When IGuardPC is on your computer, it starts its simulated scans, during which the application detects a bunch of threats. However, these threats are just files created by the backdoor trojans.

    did all this and still have iguardpc.

    I downloaded malware bytes and I still have it too. That was suppose to get rid of it. Had something like Windows..something..something spyware back in Oct 09. Even Dell Couldn’t help. Had to reformat.
