LinkSafeness Descriptions:

LinkSafeness, sometimes referred to as Link Safeness, is a rogue anti-spyware application from the Winisoft family. As most of the other members of the Winisoft, LinkSafeness is promoted through the use of different Trojans which usually pretend to be flash updates, or even video codecs required to watch video files online.

As soon as you click on the download button of the codec, or flash update, LinkSafeness will be installed and configured to start automatically. After that your PC will be constantly scanned and display fake scan results which warn you that your machine is infected.

However, the reality is that LinkSafeness is a tool used to scare computer users and make them think that the application is able to fix your PC. Unfortunately, many people get into these traps and loose thousands of dollars.

We advise you to be extremely careful with the application. Do not ever install it. Remove LinkSafeness from your PC as soon as you get it.
