SoftVeteran is a rogue anti-spyware application from the Winisoft family. As most of the rogues of this kind, SoftVeteran is installed trough Trojans which sneak into your computer as you look for Flash updates or video codecs.
As SoftVeteran is on your computer, the Trojans make some configurations in the registry of your system. First, the virses make the software start automatically when Windows starts. Second, they create files on the registry which are later recognized as maliciuos.
Every time SoftVeteran launches it starts scanning your computer. In fact, these scans are created in advance in the same manner as the files found as infections. Computer users are threatened that their system is infected. In order to remove the malware, SoftVeteran suggests you to purchase the full version of the application.
Do not ever buy SoftVeteran. Do not install the application. If you have already done that, remove it following these guidelines.
