Total XP Security, av.exe Descriptions:

Total XP Security (from the same family as Total Vista Security and Total Win 7 Security) is one more danger on the web. The fake application is based on Trojans, and can damage your computer seriously in case it gets on it. Be sure your antivirus software is updated and has the valid license.

Total XP Security is associated with another rogueware, Total Vista Security. The cyber criminals seem to be having good time creating different roguewares for different versions of Microsoft Windows. Although Total XP Security might look legible, it does not have anything in common with the security of your machine.

Never install Total XP Security on your PC. Be sure that it is just the aid to scare you and make you purchase the full version of the rogueware.

In case you have noticed that

  • your computer is being scanned by some program every time you boot Windows up,
  • you keep getting warnings that a bunch of viruses were found on your PC, and
  • you are constantly redirected to the purchase page of the application,

keep in mind that Total XP Security might have been installed on your machine without your notice and that you are in danger.

In case you have got this rogueware on your machine, remove it using the spyware detection utility. If you want to get rid of  Total XP Security manually, follow our site and we will provide you the full list of removal instructions.
