Wildfire, you have to stop Reminder.exe process first. Press CTRL-ALT-DEL, click on the Processes tab, select Reminder.exe, click End Processes.

I have a similar problem. There is a pop up that tells me that I have a security problem.
Clicking to close it initiates my default browser to open to a site that appears to scan my hard drive then tells me that I have spyware. Checking online, I realise that it is called SecureExpertCleaner, a rogue anti spyware program. I clicked ctrl-alt-del, then clicked on processes. However, I can’t tell which file is the offending one.
Can you help?
