StorageProtector maybe a counterfeit anti-spyware / anti-malware software. Storage Protector usually come up after you installed a Trojan, virus and fake software.

It is very important to remove all the components of of the StorageProtector and all the malware and trojans that it might have come bundle with (such as zlob.trojan, trojan.vundo and Trojan.Downloader). This virus also installed a program called “Web Buying” onto my laptop.

I didn’t download this. HOw did I get this Storageprotector and how I can remove it? I am not a tech.

StorageProtector seems to be “reborn” if it’s not cleaned thoroughly. One thing you might want to try is that using Spyhunter as a scanner, it takes a few minutes to scan your drive. After it’s complete, Spyhunter will display all the infected files/registry keys, at that point, you just need to follow our instructions above and remove each individual file manually.
