I got the VirusProtect after loading a video codec. I used SmitRem, and it cleared up much, but left the Zlob.Trojan. SpyHunter 3 cleared this up nicely (I hope).

This nasty little bug changed permissions in my /Local Settings folder, making 23 gigs of data invisible to me, (but not to folder options). Full system scans took over 6 hrs to complete until I found the problem. I had to go to Microsoft support and learn how to gain acces to the C:System Volume Information folder, and how to move/delete/reinstall the Temporary Internet Files folder.

I use BitDefender Internet Security 2008, and it only found 4 of the 170 infections, then couldn't delete them because they were in archived files. The techies at BD had no clue about this bug, and had me running in circles for over a week.

So glad to be rid of this one!

I removed the "virusprotect 3.9" spy with smitfraudfix.

This removed the fsehfcu.dll , the
program files /helper /video-add on /virus-protect 3.9

folders with data .

So the virus-protect 3.9 is just a fake , but
it looked like real software . I dont know how one
can come to this . Thats a good joke .

a happy new year 08 .
