Please note that you cannot activate the task scheduler in safe mode. You have to reboot computer in standard mode, attempt to activate the systems tools/task scheduler and hope you can do it before the virus itself has a chance to activate. As soon as your computer boots up go directly to the task scheduler before the virus can beat you to the punch. You have to try to do this as soon as the window-program-menu appears on your screen. Do it....and do it fast! Good luck!

Reboot your computer in regular mode, not safe mode and as the computer is booting up attempt to open up the system tools/task scheduler before the virus itself boots up and activates. It may be frustrating, you may have to try it several times but if you can, it will stop the virus in it's tracks! I did just that and Microsoft security essentials isolated and removed the spyware in an instant! Note: you have to have your finger on the trigger so to speak and try your best to activate task scheduler before the virus activates, usually a short time after your computer has booted. Good luck and let me know!

***********How to get rid of Antivirus XP on XP system*******

1) Reboot into safe mode (usually by pressing F8 during boot process.
2) Screen in safe mode asks you 'Yes/No' option to either 'Yes' - proceed into Safe Mode or 'No' - use System Restore. SELECT 'NO' OPTION.
3) When prompted select a restore date back before you had the problem.
4) <>
5) <<>- Go to 'Start' - 'My Computer' - right mouse click - 'Properties'
6) 'System Restore Tab' - select 'Turn off system restore'.
7) Reeboot computer and go back to 'System restore tab and uncheck it again. This turns System Restore back on (and has now deleated all previous potentially infected system restore points).
8) Go to 'Start' - 'All programs' - 'Accessories' - System tools - System restore - 'Create restore point' - 'Next'.
9)Type in 'Clean PC' and let system create new restore point. If you get infected again repeat process above using the 'Clean PC'restore point.
10) Wish unpleasent things on creator of Antivirus XP while you enjoy your computing!!!
